49ショート・ノート木下直子・濱川祐紀代・大熊伊宗・遠藤健／MOOC「Steps in Japanese for Beginners」のコース開講・運営に関する報告2）文法説明の動画を見直すが，SJB 全体は文法・文型を積み上げる構造シラバスではない。英語学位プログラムに入学した留学生がキャンパスライフを送る際にどのような日本語が求められるかという視点から場面・機能を考え，それに最低限必要となる文法を扱ったシラバスでデザインしている。したがって，中には一般的に初級の文法・文型でないものもチャンクとして覚えて使う形で取り入れたものもある。そのため，必ずしも文法・文型が体系的に扱えていないところがある。本コンテンツを活用して学内で展開している対面授業では，テキストやしておらず，課題が残されている。3）各課のまとめを設ける 各課の最後に，語彙や文法のまとめを設けたり，ハンドアウトの提供を望む声があった。4）発音を確認する機会を設ける 発音に対する不安のコメントも複数見られた。Verified Learner には Part2 の最終課題として音声ファイルの提出が求められ，フィードバックを返しているが，その多くは，日本に来る留学生の発音の水準とは大きく異なっている。中には何を話しているのかがほとんどわからないケースもあり，発音に関するインプットの量を増やす，アウトプットの機会を増やすなど，何らかの対応が求められる。5）会話の機会を検討する 実際に日本人と話す機会がほしいという声が複数あった。 About Japanese Language では，日本語の基本的な文字と文の構造について扱っているWorksheet を作成して補っているが，edX のコンテンツではテキストや Worksheet を公開・Since grammar can be complicated, I wish there were more explanation videos for grammar.・More example sentences when teaching grammar would be even better.・Lack of exercises to practice the grammar.・Having a summary after each lesson would make it perfect.・ Overall it is very well planned out. But having a summary list of all the noun, grammar, particle and vocab at the end of each lessons will make it perfect.・it’ll be good if there are some handouts.・Detailed notes with vocabulary, grammar etc. I had to take snapshots of video materials.・Not sure if my pronunciation is correct or not as there’s not test/ review about it.・pronunciation checking; I don’t know if I pronounce some word in the right way.・I am not sure if my pronunciations are correct.・There was no face to face conversations to practice speaking.・No opportunity to have face to face conversations.
