Motive for learning Japanese My Life with SEND My University Life before and after the SEND Program is as follows: I am Jessica Galvez, an alumnus of De La Salle University-Manila. I took up International Studies Major in Japanese Studies and graduated last 2014. I was able to have the honor of welcoming the first batch of SEND representatives from Waseda University. First of all, please allow me to introduce more about myself. You all may be wondering, why did I take Japanese Studies? Ever since I was a child, I’ve been exposed to Japanese Anime, as a few choices were available for viewing on local television. That exposure slowly turned into interest, and eventually became a hobby. However, the more I became more interested, the more limited the choices felt so this paved way for me to explore more parts of the Japanese Pop Culture like J-Pop Music and dramas.
