This page is ONLY for those who are enrolled at Waseda University as faculty/researchers and their family. Undergraduate & Graduate students and CJL students should skip this page. During the pre-registration period, please register for your personal information in advance via the CJL website such as your name, status in Waseda, contact email-address, etc. However, you CANNOT yet apply for courses at this time. *You must belong to Waseda University during the entire class period. *Pre-registration must be done each semester. *Office staff will contact you if your registered information is incomplete. * While being a graduate student, if you are also assigned as an assistant/assistant professor, please register after considering which of the statuses you want to register for a Japanese course as. For details, please check the registration schedule and procedure for each status. https://www.waseda.jp/inst/cjl/en/students/registration/download/ 1. Before the 2nd registration, the CJL office will inform you of your Waseda ID, which is exclusively used to take Japanese language courses. Please note that this Waseda ID is different from the one you use as a faculty member or researcher. 2. Please set up your Waseda ID within the specified period. Details will be sent to the e-mail address you registered in STEP 1. You will not be able to register for courses in STEP 3 until this setup is completed. 1. You may register for courses that have available seats in the 2nd and 3rd registration. *Please note that faculty/researchers and their family CANNOT register for courses in the 1st registration. (The 1st registration is ONLY for students.) *Available Seats List” will be posted on the CJL website during the 2nd and 3rd course registration period. Please choose the courses you want to register for from that list. (up to 8 credits) 2. Apply for courses which you want to register for via the Web course registration system. *No applications will be accepted under any circumstances from those who have not completed pre-registration in STEP 1 and those who have turned in the late applications after the registration period. Refer to "６. Tuition Fee for Japanese Language Course " in this guidebook to confirm if you need to pay. CJL will contact those who need to pay later with payment instructions.
